    Should have heeded the warning when they asked my how I would like my Madras, mild, medium, or hot . It's a Madras there is no choice only continued as was desperate for a curry and only one within walking distance
    Lots of thin sauce and about 30 leaves in the sauce
    Garlic naan average
    Never again

    Best Indian food on the coast! Top quality service from a lovely dedicated owner and delicious fresh food. Vegan/Vegetarian friendly and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Don’t judge a book by its cover!!!

    My partner and I enjoyed lunch at Shalimar on Friday of our holiday. We had the $15 lunch special which included naan, curry & rice. All were delicious, no complaints. The owner came out and checked our meals were ok, I mentioned “I like a little bit more spice”. He came back within 2 minutes with a completely new dish for me. Very impressed. Wonderful service.

    Amazing place , loved the food here also a great staff and great service. Definitely a great place to visit if you love indain food.

    The food was OK . It had more color in it rather than taste . But good customer service and gentle owner .
